Provisional - politely that means that they have to work out the details; less so it means Bernie Ecclestone has Mayor Gérald Tremblay by the balls. Tremblay is in the middle of a huge scandal over a $400 million water contract that could sink him in the November election. He needs to finalize the Grand Prix race ASAP. That means the taxpayers of Montreal will be asked to pony up more money to help increase the profits of a few bar and restaurant owners on Crescent Street.

I used to really enjoy F1 racing. I've even been the GP in Montreal a couple of times and had blast. But F1 has become a den of snakes. Or maybe it always was, but corruption, cheating and greed are the norm. Canada is better off without it. Let them earn their crooked dollars in Malaysia and Hungary.

Agree. :)

But you have to admit that it's a good party though. Although it would be so funny if they would put the race on the same weekend as the St-Jean, as they did a few years ago. It would give the 10 or so extreme separatists something to complain about.
