So media outlets majority-owned by the Russian government are pushing a laughably fake image trying to implicate the Ukraine government in mass murder.

I love the joke that western media has become.

The image was anonymously mailed to a Russian media outlet, who, when showing the image, also made the statement that it was clearly a fake, but the fake was done in a way that could only have been done with access to the original image. (outside of my expertise, so I have no idea how valid this claim is)

They also requested that the anonymous sender send in the original, unaltered images so that closure could finally be given to the family members of flight MH17.

Someone really lacks a grasp of perspective. Unless the satellite is closer to the aircraft than the aircraft are to the ground then the aircraft should not appear to be larger than the nearby and pictured airport.

That's for sure. The aircraft is six miles above the ground and the satellite is probably what, about 140 miles above the aircraft.

Also, why is a passenger plane crystal clear and the fighter all blurry?

Third thing. There have been all sorts of photos of the downed fuselage that clearly show an array of identical size round projectiles perforating the skin of the aircraft in a pretty regular pattern. Air-to-air missiles are armed with buckets (it would have taken buckets) of shrapnel balls? I don't think so.
