Of course not. It used to be three times plane fare, took 18 times as long, was 1 1/2 times as long as if you drove and cost double what gas for a 4x4 pickup did for the same trip.
There were also no basic amenities, no sensible schedules and they ran Budd cars so damned old most people would be scared to get in one.
Plus if they ever dropped even ONE car into the depths of Anderson lake the lawsuits would bankrupt even CN.
THe Mayor would probably have more luck lobbying Christy Clark for a Skytrain extension.
