Today is Dieppe day. Have a moment in time to remember the sacrifice of Canadian soldiers on the beaches of this French resort town 66 years ago that turned into a cauldron of fire for the Canadian forces involved.
Take a minute out of your lives to remember those who didn't come back on the day of the largest Canadian Forces Loss of life in either World Wars. Many of us aren't old enough to have remembered the day or had been there, but remember them.
Why August 19th is not a Canadian holiday I'll never know.

November 11th represents that day and 1,000’s others before and after it that are just as important.
