In the West, we'll also be able to see the sun rising during the total eclipse. !! Yes, Atmosphereic lensing will make it look like the sun and moon are above the horizon at the same time, but they in actuality won't be.

A clear morning on the Wet coast in December, if you get one make sure to buy a 649 ticket.....
