Troops coming home is always a big deal in Edmonton. The times are broadcast on the radio, and everyone along the route will pull over, stop, wave and let them pass.

Today, the plane lands at around 2pm, and they leave for the base around 3. Highway 2, to the Henday westbound, around the city to 97th street north to CFB Namao.

The streets will be lined with people, fire engines and they will have a very large police escort.

I'm glad we are done with that dutch oven, at least for the foreseeable future.
