The Invictus Games are an international Paralympic-style multi-sport event, created by Prince Harry, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports including Wheelchair basketball, Sitting volleyball and Indoor rowing.
Named after Invictus, the Latin for "Unconquered, Undefeated" the event was inspired by the Warrior Games, a similar event held in the United States. The first Invictus Games took place in 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, United Kingdom.

It's great that he's promoting this worthy event for wounded warriors but, given his Gov'ts and parties track record when it comes to taking care of Canada's veterans this comes across as nothing short of another self serving photo op.

Well at least the Liberals were upfront about the contempt they feel for all things military. The Conservatives liked to make a lot of noise and put on a big show about how they were patrons of the military and vets, but they screwed them over anyways.
