Do you have an example or link of a test that would be bias black/white?

I think the city of New Haven said that when they threw out the tests!



Maybe just maybe this group of Black people chose not to study to hard cause they knew they would be promoted anyway!

So then is it not affirmative action that says Black people are not as smart as White people!

This all violates the The Equal Protection Clause, part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, provides that "no state shall ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws". The Equal Protection Clause can be seen as an attempt to secure the promise of the United States' professed commitment to the proposition that "all men are created equal" by empowering the judiciary to enforce that principle against the states.

Didn't you read the article? There's nothing wrong with the test. The problem is the administration, who ignored the results because no blacks qualified for promotion.

I really feel sorry for the firefighter mentioned. Seriously, the city is fucked up if they don't think something's wrong with this.
