Even when the government tries to do something, then the judges come along and fuck it up.

Yeah! Those darn judges and their obsession with the rule of law. Why can't we just do whatever we feel like whenever we feel like it, instead of worrying about what's "legal" (whatever that word means)? :roll:

It makes sense that the government can't unilaterally impose obligations on FN outside of the Treaty process.

Why are you against a basic amount of accountability?

Do you not thing that Bands should have to account for the millions we give them?

If there's a treaty speaking to the issue then you're absolutely right.

The government's only play here is to refuse to make any further payments unless they get what they want. The FN are free to refuse those terms under their treaty.
