How many OPP are on the Sunshine List? How many dirty, undercover TPS?
No wonder our allies don't trust us...

This is a lie. I have it on good authority from all of the liberals on this site that there are no such problems with wait times in Canada.

From the time I went to my GP, two weeks later I was in to see a neurologist. And I’m not located in Toronto.

How many neurologists are there in Kingston? Stupid article. Hundreds of neurologists within an hour drive and this makes the news?

4.5 years? How many people have neurological problems in Kingston? Must be a place with a great demand to have to wait 4.5 years...

Friend of mine saw a neurologist within a day or two when she was having nerve issues.
No other neurologists in Kingston?

Ontario doctors are running adds on the radio. It’s feel good PR. I am wonder what they are planning. As to this story she can get an appointment in Toronto or Ottawa faster. Her doctor was interviewed and said that even with travel she will still have to wait 12-18 months. So probably not life threatening.

Dr. Fitzpatrick seems to imply the case was not urgent but 4.5 years is ridiculous for anything. The sensible thing would be to share specialists across the health networks esp. in Southern Ontario where distance isn't such a big issue. And we need to expand the private side of our system.

Better scrap the entire public system though and bring in American insurance companies to run things from now on at the low-low price of only $10000 per person (only $15000 for kids and seniors!) in yearly insurance costs. Because, y'know, efficiency or something like that.

Oh, I get it! Waiting and waiting and waiting for something-you-believe-should-be-free is a mental illness!

Don't know about that but shit-posting weird out-of-the-blue thoughts that have nothing at all to do with the conversation is a probable indication of some sort of mental/emotional tin-hatted imbalance.

Costs in the US are bonkers. I don't know anybody who wants to copy that system.
