Good on Norway for telling the IOC to get lost. I've said it before, but it's hard somedays to say who is more corrupt; FIFA or the IOC.

And these are just the bribes required during the games. The whole bidding process is a giant series of bribes where host cities aren't picked on their merit, rather, by the quality of the bribes and treatment the IOC members get.

We actually would have been smart to. With the venues already built, we may have been able to pay off some of the debt from the last ones.

Calgary Olympics have paid for themselves 20 times .
