There is probably nothing that would turn off people more than watching Question Period in the House of Commons where oppostion MPs pontificate and grandstand and members of the Cabinet do all in their power to avoid answering the question asked.

No wonder so few people bother voting.

I wonder if you had the same opinion of "oppostion MPs pontifica[ing] and grandstand[ing]" when Harper was in the opposition.

If you ask me, Harper was just as shrill and annoying as Iggy and Layton are now. Conservative supporters around here at the time said, "Well, he's the opposition that's his job." Guess it sucks when the shoe is on the other foot...

Hysteria is the flavour of the day in politics. It's what keeps people watching the news. If you were to be so uncynical as to still call it "news."

I'm not a member of the Conservative Party. And, yes, Harper was as bad as Iggy is now and Chrétien was just as condescending as Harper is.

And Question Period was just as bad.

It's all a load of old bollocks and the lot of 'em, (Harper, Iggy, Layton and Duceppe), are all a bunch of self serving, overpaid wankers.

Wow, what a revelation! You mean politicians don't do things for the good of the country, or their constituency, but for political advantage? Say it isn't so.

This is why we should all vote CRAP. Put an end to all the game playing, elect people who are above all that and don't put the pursuit of power ahead of what's good for the country. That's because what's good for Harper is what's good for Canada.
