The article is wrong. Says Regina will likely join SNMG1 and that SNMG1 primarily patrols the Med.

SNMG1 primarily patrols the Atlantic area, and AFAIK we always have a frigate or destroyer attached to that fleet (meaning one is already there).

SNMG2 primarily patrols the Med. Regina will likely join that fleet. Canada usually doesn't post a ship to it.

I don't think there any destroyers attached these days beyond on paper.

I believe it'll be the med as well.
