Just surprised it hadn't been done before, mind you for all the good it does, they've been considered an organized crime syndicate in the USA for years now.

I think I've said this before but I had a pretty high ranking member of the HA as a client at the credit union... can't remember his name or even his HA nick-name. Nice guy and never came in wearing leather or his badge. Disappeared one day during the big purge in the mid 80s.

Good luck with that one. The the FBI tried to get them declared a criminal organization in the States much like the Mafia but their lawyers got it stopped by proving that they aren't a criminal organization but an organization of criminals which because of Semantics is apparently a big difference.

Criminal organizations have leaders that are paid tribute by the rest of the people in the organization whereas from what the FBI said the Angels have no titular head so they don't pay any specific person tribute and each Hells Angel operates as his own crime syndicate with no approval or authority from the organization.

So far this defense has stood up in court in the States so I imagine that they'll attempt to use the same defense here and the only question will be. Is our Government and judicial system stupid enough to allow it?

Maybe I don't get how the time stamps here work but if you follow them the article was posted by you at 03:16:31 and then like 12 minutes later you asked the above question.

Just seems strange you'd figure 12 minutes is a long time for a response.

To me it seems like a blanket coverage. Many, well most, of the chapters are doing criminal activites but then there are a few chapters that don't. Inside the chapters that do criminal activites not all members are involved with said criminal activity. If this were to pass then some innocent people will automaticaly be branded a criminal.

Then again it is the Hells Angels. They are not known for being the kindest bunch of people on the planet. So when one joins them you know what you're getting into.
