It wasn't their choice. It's just one of the stock heads in the prop closet.

Hypocrite Hollywood Liberals.

If someone did the same thing to Obama those same a$$holes would be screaming about it.

Going back to the topic about civility and why conservatives in the USA are in less of a talking mood these days...

YAWN!

$1:
What happened was this: we use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can't afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush.

In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise.

GOP has their panties in a knot again. What else is new.

Isn't there something more important in the world to worry about?

Use an Obama manikin in a Hollywood movie lynching scene and those organizations tending left would be cool with that, I guess.

Well there is:

Syria - not really interested in much more than watching, and that's depressing

Europe - not really interested in much more than watching and it's a little frightening

Stanley Cup - done

NASCAR - yeah, that might be better to watch than Fox, but thst's just me.

Hopefully on your latter point. This really wasn't very funny (says the guy with the Hitler avatar 8O) and was exceedingly low class. I highly doubt that this sort of thing happened inadvertly either.

Way to put a black mark on the show for a lot of people, dumbasses. :x

Meh, it'll just become part of the 'little known facts' about the show for future generations watching the show.

Nothing new here.

I can't speak to the prop masters motivation. But as Scape quoted, the show just orders 'decapitated heads, 1 dozen' from the brochure. Who's likeness they are the Producers of the show don't get to choose.

If they wouldn't have told me that it was a likeness of George Jr., I would never have known it from that .5 second clip. Or even the photo. And even then, I still can't really tell if it's Junior, or Sean Bean, the guy who's head it's supposed to represent.

Did no one read the freaking article?

This wasn't intentional they just rented (no "prop closet") a bunch of heads and used what showed up.

Geez Fox is usually fairly stupid but this must have been one hell of a slow news day for this to be considered noteworthy.
