Hard to tell what lead to this, but that girl just seems rediculous.

I'm the last person to defend police brutality, but that girl wouldn't stop moving around and trying to get up. And then when they asked her to get up she refused to stand and screamed "owe" as loud as she could. Seemed like she was trying to make a scene. And the guy filming is an idiot acting like a lawyer.
These cops seemed to use a lot of restraint and never seemed angry.

I've seen people under arrest behave like perfect angels, until they realize they have an audience, like a waiting room full of people or someone with a camera. That's when they decide to act out, make a scene, hurl obscenities and threats, etc. From what I gather it's usually meant to embarrass the officers or goad them into using force.

Looks to me like the were using a lot of restraint with both the suspect and the crowd.

Don't know what started this. Kind of sounded like they showed up at her place of work (you hear the cop stating that the guy filming was a co-worker)to place her under arrest and she threw a fit and started resisting.

I really don't see anything wrong here except her trying to resist, squirming out of the cuffs, not standing up, fighting not to be placed in the car.

WHy would this garner International attention? It was an arrest, the lady kept screaming and squirming making the uneventful a scene out of a drama. I only watched the first two minutes so unless there were some punches or kicks thrown later in the video, I don't see how anyone would have problem with this. The police in this instance were just doing their jobs and did it well it would appear.

Living in a tough neighborhood as a kid, I found the vast majority of police (in uniform I stress) are good people. The first lesson I learned came from my dad in the form of respecting authority. If you treat police with respect they are going to reciprocate 99% of the time. The yelling and screaming serves no purpose. I have seen young guys get their guard up and curse at cops, I never thought to myself "wow what a brave guy", I thought to myself "this kid is an idiot and is making life tougher for himself for no reason at all other than to impress other kids".

Of course I don't know WHY she was arrested, obviously some random arrest on the streets wouldn't go over well for anyone, otherwise the police handled it extremely well. The cop even speaking to her calmly in a soothing manner. This looked more like an instructional video on how to deal with an obnoxious person quite frankly.

subject is a douche bag, she resisted I don't see any excessive force at all. Plus, I like the cop stopping and talking about it after.

I don't see anything wrong with that arrest, just because she is screaming doesn't mean she is being 'beaten' or injured. Most women when being detained have the same reaction.

I think the bleach may have grown out of her hair but it must have sunk into her brain.

Love how she stops screaming and being in so much pain and shock to play with her hair at 3:07 then tries to communicate something to the person recording (or someone around him)with calm hand gestures and mouthing something.

Her hissy fit was for public consumption. Had to try and make the arrest look nasty for all the onlookers so they'd complain of "police brutality".

Safe to say her attempt failed.
