Why don't they check for cloven hooves or see if these people float, all tried and true methods that worked for detecting evil in the past.

Now I wait with bated breath for someone to defend this medieval sword and sorcery crap and I defy anyone to claim that modern day Islam in it's present form has matured beyond the 14th Century.

Since you're closest to it, I respectfully request that you provide us with an update once the details come out(heheh see what i did there?). I am really curious to know how they think they can tell if someone is with a medical test. Maybe they just make them listen to show tunes and watch for signs of enjoyment?

That's what I was thinking too. Ethier the rectal probe, or check their suitcase for really great outfits.

On a serious note this will never come to fruition, first fo all its not possible, scientifically I mean. And this kind of thing happens all the time, someone important thinks such and such is a good idea and there is all sorts of talk about it, then reality sets in that either its not possible, feasible or just plain dumb and is forgotten.

The only case I can think off which ended in the person facing the firing squad here and involved homosexuality was of a man with a record of sexual assault who then trapped a little boy in a mosques toilet, raped him and then when he started screaming, bashed his skull against the walls until he was dead. Regardless of his sexuality, that monster deserved to die for what he did.
