Ahkanten, I'll continue to vote for the Conservatives in Ontario but I'm with the machiavellis and of this country and will not cast another vote for our leftard PM.
So then it was this incident that sent you over the edge or some other?
The reason I ask is you make some pretty lofty character assumptions about both yourself and myself based on the fact that I look at this incident and merely acknowledge that's it's wrong and roll my eyes. Being over 40 and understanding that the politics is BS on this level; yes it was wrong, I already said that, it was crass and they're "not going to get away with it". But ultimately I understand it to be what it is. A gaff.
You don't honestly meant to suggest that since I'm
relatively* satisfied with the job the CPC has been doing so far, in the light of the current situation, I should just (what?) vote for someone else or not vote at all do you? I am puzzled why all of a sudden I should cut off my nose to spite my face over an issue like this that I know full well I've seen a hundred of when I used to vote Liberal, or for that matter last time I voted Conservative, or for that matter how I know it will be if I ever live to see the NDP in office.
I mean I take it federally you're not going to vote at all? Or are you going to vote Liberal even though you don't like 'em? Or NDP? Either way no matter which you choose,
(since non-participation is not a strategy or a punishment), you have little reason to bark at me about, 'putting my fingers in my ears', or civic responsibility or holding a political party accountable, or giving them a 'free pass', since you're not achieving any more than a change of direction for my personal vote would.
If you don't vote then you're not a pundit you're just a curmudgeon.
* the only factor to consider in politics from the voter perspective.
