Colour me skeptical...even with Google's old slogan "Don't be Evil", I still doubt any company will leave the fastest growing consumer market in the world.

I think they will leave. If hacking Google is official Chinese government policy, and the government gets to dictate what the Internet Google can show - it's not worth the trouble.
China doesn't want to do business, google is everywhere else.

screw china. It's time to pull outta there and leave them to realize it's the governments fault businesses don't want to deal with communist controls.
Seriously I avoid stuff that's made in China as much as I possibly can nowadays. Until China cleans up it's human rights I just have no idea if the stuff I'm buying was made by poor labor conditions in some crap factory.
If I knew something was made that way I wouldn't buy it. As it stands to adhere to that belief in Human rights I've had to boycott China. I don't think it unrealistic moral companies begin to do the same.

If they do I'll have to take back some of the "nasty" things I've said about them.
