There are a hell of a lot more poor than rich. My question again is why we don't all get
together and overthrow the rich once and for all?

I am totally in favour of the rich paying a hell of a lot more to taxes because they have
more, and they should pay more. I am also against this 'universal basic income' nonsense
because it doesn't have a purpose, and the ends cannot justify the means.

If you're saying the rich are the problem, then let's unite and find a solution.

The wealthy have too many ratholes (Caymans, Isle of Man, Macau, Emirates, Russia, etc) to flee to with their money for a harsh confiscation of their ill-earned riches to ever succeed. It's only a dream, albeit a very good one, to think that them getting their just dues for their endless crimes against all of humanity will ever happen in anyone's lifetime.

Never forget the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules.

At no point does someone like Bezos 'earn' his wealth. He was in the right place at the right time with the right skills but once in the slot it's like a snowball rolling downhill and compounds and THAT is what he and all of the 1% get their massive advantage from.

We overthrow kings, corrupt regimes and the like by force. We can not reason with them because they have already made the rules to favor their terms. Only a magna carta type event will force the elites to heel. For that to trigger a great equalizer event would be required such as a market crash, major war or a pandemic.

It's a roll of the dice from there and there are no guarantees. We could ALL end up dead or the elites still remain in power and it would be all for naught. There is a slight chance that a reorder of society will favor the meek but who would be willing to chance it? Only dire circumstances will force this hand.
