I think what happens with on-line poker is that you play so many more hands per hour than you ever would at a live table that the odds SEEM different. You see more strange things happen because so many more cards are being dealt. I occasionally play Absolute Poker and I once saw the dealer toss Q Q Q on the flop 5 hands in a row. The odds against that are astronomical. Also, it's human nature to rememeber the "bad beats" but forget the times you sucked out against the odds.
Ya, it seems strange. And the problem is that you can never really be sure that something isn't rigged online even on the big sites. You will note that these sites may be exploited:
