Same here although, I'm not surprised. You had to know that something would happen to one of them eventually given the insane things they did and even if they were mostly staged they still involved a large factor of risk.

Not the first time for Hammond. He nearly died on the set of Top Gear after a dragster test went badly. They removed that episode from the Netflix series.

Which was weird of them to do. It's not like the crash was particularly graphic (the crash from the last Indy 500 was more gratuitous).

The guy can't seem to catch a break though. First the dragster crash. Then a few months ago I read he got into a fairly good motorcycle crash while filing The Grand Tour and now this.
