And that is why the Poppy is trademarked. Next, a pink poppy for Breast Cancer, and more 'Remeberance Week' clothing sales.

I was of the impression that the red poppy signifies all military sacrifices made, plus why remember beasts of burden that certainly had no choice but to go to war, none of the ones who survived are alive today and whatever units they served in/with most likely honor them somehow already.

Methinks this is going too far and the changes people keep making lessen what remembrance day is all about, I'll stick with my red poppy and honouring human beings who served

You have to be fucking kidding me! 8O This really is sickening, any way for someone to make a buck eh? So where is all the proceeds from these pet poppies going to go? Oh thats right no one really gives a flying fuck about it really, they just want to look like they care. So this cocksucker is going to give 10% to his local SPCA, 20% to his overhead and 70% for himself, I hope his veteran father kicks the shit out of him. Obviously he wasnt able to teach his son respect before hand might as well do it now.

I'm quoting this for posterity because I suspect you called it.

Can't read it. But since these guys fought and died for their country along with all of the others, I think they might like this:

regardless of what some activist decides.

Sort of analogous with hate crimes. Why do we need a special category when assault, slander and libel are already crimes?
