Like Dan said in another thread, Civil political discourse is dead in the US. Free speech is a right, unless it's speech you don't like. Nothing says ESPN has to play Hank Williams songs, but lets' also recall the Dixie Chicks album burning parties for saying the same sort of thing WRT President Bush.

Despite our political and moral differences I really don't expect you to change your views to suit mine just because I'm able to use a medium that is unavailable to other people.

I guess when you become famous you become more intelligent, morally and socially concious than the rest of the planet and have an obligation to ensure the masses get your special message.

The one thing these asshats forget is that the medium is the message, not them.
