Except for things the human body shop can't find replacement parts for, i.e. eyeballs and frontal lobes.
You still do not sue the company who build it, nor the city who placed it. You would not stand a chance.
We call that "personal responsibility and common sense". You don't HAVE to take the slide, you know, and when you do, you do that out of your own free will, knowingly taking the risk of "losing an eye", as you like to call it.
When an accident happens, you get compensated for your losses. Your car gets fixed, your hospital stay is paid for, the hours you miss at work are paid for. We don't have a "sue for massive amounts of money because I am emotionally hurt"-culture. We are too down to earth. Own your shit. It is really that simple.
If you do not want to risk breaking a leg on a slide, DON'T GO ON THE DAMNED SLIDE.
