Garlands biggest mistake was killing a child. My guess is that Garland will be spending the next 75 years in protective custody which is to bad because, for the sake of the inmates rehabilitation chances I'd like to see them finish what they started.

I'm against the death penalty, but I have to admit this case sorely tested my beliefs.

The steps Garland took to perpetrate this horrific crime mark him as less human and more monster, and as such, I feel very little pity for whatever fate karma has in store for him.

In 1992 it was Corrine (Punky) Gustavson's murder that changed my opnion since then <censored> like Garland deserve the death penalty just like that <censored> in Calgary who killed Sara Baillie and her five-year-old daughter Taliyah Marsman. Death Penalty is justified.

Nina Courtepatte's bruised and bloody body was found on the Edmonton Springs golf course in 2005.

Its the girls in this case, the ones that lured her out of the mall that I'd like to see harm done to, God dam, she thought they were her friends.

I remember her just as tragic and unnecessary, there's also Karla Homolka who's a free woman. Some cases like these demand the death penalty but instead Canada's Justice System favors the rights of the criminals.
