Aren't pitbulls so fuzzy and cuddly. While this is hilarious just imagine if that had been someones kid.

Is that what you think every time you see a dog chewing a toy? I had a dog that used to do that to my wheelbarrow.

Most dogs don't have the power in their jaws to tear apart a police car, which is the disconcerting thing. But just to be clear, when was the last time you heard of a chihuahua mauling a child to death?

you cant compare a chihuahua to a ptbull. You can compare a Rottweiler to a pitbull. When was the last time you heard about a rottweiler biting a baby to death? Oh, right, the day before yesterday... (so to speak..)

Maybe a chihuahua wasn't a good example but the fact remains that because of genetics, dogs bred to fight, pose a much greater risk for unprovoked attack than dogs bred for herding, hunting or pulling.

So until the Pitbull and Rotweiller breeders breed out the agressive tendencies in these dogs we're going to continue to see unprovoked attacks and maulings of people and pets.

But that'll likely never happen because there will always be a small segment of society that thinks it's cool to have an overly agressive dog that can tear the bumper off a police car.

I totally agree with you. It not necessarily the dog, as well as the owner. And, I think the owner should be aware of the fact that dogs can turn evil in no time. You just can never leave your dog alone with your kids, or have it wander the streets alone.

I was bitten in my nose by a Dachshund (Wienerdog...) once... Eversince, I hate them... Sure, it didnt do as much damage as a PitBull or a Rottweiler would have caused, but still...
