Pipes has gone the full Quizling has he? Oh well, he was never really a warrior for our side anyway. He's always been a bit of a Dhimmi.

I was more disappointed when we lost Tommy Robinson.

Who needs Pipes though. There's better stuff in the comments.

WTF kind of statement is this?

$1:
But I no longer can reject with certainty the possibility of Islamism evolving and somewhat improving.

Politically correct claptrap and does "somewhat improving" mean the radicals have left the 13th Century and actually advanced into the 1400's? Either they're a threat or they aren't. The problem isn't degrees of threats it's threats period and most of this so called Islamic improvement can be linked to better security, better intelligence, boots on the ground, anti terrorist funding, the freedom of the internet and a religious civil war between their sects that's occupying the populace in alot of Islamic countries.

The radicals in Islam haven't changed their objectives just their methods and if it's put people like Pipes to sleep thinking that the world is going to be safe from them in the near future then it's time for the rest of us to amp up our security.

Someone who wants to kill you in the name of his religion is still going to be a threat whether he's living in a democracy or a theocracy.
