No matter what your opinion is on the surge in Iraq, nor his actions as C.I.A. director, but I don't think he's done anything to deserve this kind of scorn and disrespect.

Seriously, he willingly teaches at a university for a dollar, after his salary was deemed controversial, and yet still these little shits treat him like if he's Hitler. I wish I had the opportunity to attend a class taught by somebody who had such a major impact on the world these past few years.

I know they did not do that to heckelers of Regan. I know they did that to a heckeler of Obama just last month. Can't say if they did or did not for the 2 Bush's or Clinton when they were heckeled.

It does, doesn't it? I've had a few interesting courses over my years in university, and I'd drool taking a course like that.

I respected (and still do) Petraeus, the man re-engineered the US military response to counter-insurgency. Youth is totally wasted on the young.
