When I say our allies don't trust us, one needs to understand how rampant the abuses, lack of accountability, transparency and secrecy runs. It is so evident that it has redefined our system to such an extent that using the term "democracy" isn't really applicable anymore.
If we are going to define the word democracy as simply "the right to vote", where in the hell does this leave us as a nation?
