I thought they were on private property, and not in a public park?

Because no one has the testicular fortitude to end it.

The thing is they did, and judge overturned the decision. They even said they could come back, if they didnt bring their tents and sleeping bags with them. I dont know if poor weather will make things better or worse, from what I have read about this lot they just start burning tires to keep warm.

At the very beginning of this whole Occupy thing, it actually seemed like a relevant cause. In recent days, it seems like al they care about is squatting and being a general nuisance to keep their message (whatever it may be now) going. The fact of the matter is that they are annexing space that isn't theirs, and alienating supporters with their current conduct.

If they really want their voices to be heard, they should vote when election time comes around again. Sitting in a park yelling slogans is as productive as watching paint dry. Imagine the message that could be sent if voter turnout somehow surged from 49.1% to as much as 80%. I know that is pretty much just some wishful thinking, but the possibilities exist.

You have to register first to become a voter, I think many of these protesters wont bother to do that let alone walk to a poll both.

Therein lies the problem. They can't be bothered to do anything for society, but want society to do everything for them. Life does not work that way, unfortunately.

$1:
According to a survey of Zucotti Park protesters by the Baruch College School of Public Affairs published on October 19, of 1,619 web respondents, 1/3 were older than 35, half were employed full-time, 13% were unemployed and 13% earned over $75,000. 27.3% of the respondents called themselves Democrats, 2.4% called themselves Republicans, while the rest, 70%, called themselves independents.

Sounds like there must might be some voters amongst them, but I'm sure you guys know better.

That's all you've got? I know it sucks when somebody challenges your biases with actual information.

Is that what you call it? I was referring to the Toronto chapter of Occupy, not the Wall Street edition. Perhaps read the thread first Andy, rather than skimming little bits for your daily troll session.

What affect the NY Occupy inevitably affects the other chapters, Andy. Don't play dumb.
