I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if you've invited people to come see how your personnel are highly trained in the appropriate and measured use of force, you probably shouldn't accidentally shoot and kill one of the spectators.

You don't demonstrate the skill in the safe use of a weapon by pointing it, even unloaded, at a person.

Ever.

That limb your out on is not going to break, you hit the nail on the head. Iv'e been around guns all of my life, as Doc said you never ever point a gun at someone even if it's unloaded breech open etc.

Because you treat every weapon as if it's loaded all the time...no exceptions.

This is an example of why.

And, of course, because magickal shiny badges are involved no one's going to face negligent homicide charges like a normal person would.

"Every gun is loaded."

If I had a dollar for every time my father said that, and every time he made us repeat it, I could probably afford a nice fishing boat.

I don't know how old I was when my brothers and I were allowed to roam the farm with a semi-auto 12ga but It wasn't very old. No accidents, not even close. Paid a dollar for every crow we dusted. :D (They wreaked havoc with mom's garden.)
