Now that's funny. The bias calling the other a bias. Sure CBC has problems one could create and poke at. But fuck, leave my CBC alone. The last thing I need is a privatized television station that plays what every other damn channel American or Canadian plays. I swear, if you have sattelite TV, they must all be thinking of the same programming for it's viewers.

There is an easy solution the Sun is missing and that is, if you don't like what you watch, change the channel. I did. I skipped Bye Bye this year after watching a few minutes.

The difference being one bias is funded by tax payers and the other is not. I for one have no use for the CBC, other than its fantastic HD sports feeds (the hockey commentators are another story). Should my view take preference and should the CBC be abolished or should yours? A federally funded news organization should not be displaying any sort of bias. If the CBC disagrees they should go private and do as they please.

Television no longer needs to be subsidized. With the internet and with some 2,500 channels of targeted programming available in North America it can no longer be said that subsidized TV does anything that someone else doesn't do.

The money saved could be put to education, better roads, scholarships, etc.
