My guess is he passed the aptitude tests, but only marginally. Each recruiting center has a quota. The highest being in the east coast provinces. I was glad to read that Ken Rosiduik was mentioned in this article. He was a student of mine back in 97 and then he worked for me on the HMCS Regina. I guess I did something right...

my application took 3 years due to overseas living and CSIS checks... looked in and kept contact over that time, polite and respectful until they got word from Berlin and Prague. Been an infantry officer ever since.

Let them do their job, treat them with respect, and it will happen.

I remember it being much smoother for my stint. Granted, my entry was not typical I went reserve which was done at the unit at the time, not the recruiting centers. Spent almost 10 years as a class B and C reservist.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for this fuckface? Yelling at the person responsible for hiring you isn't a great way to get any job, let alone one in the military.
