While the baker was a dick, this is no better. Can't have it both ways, they're both in the wrong.

Can't have it both ways,

Unless you are bi. If he did decide to nail his boyfriend in the ass in the coffee shop, chances are he'd be arrested for indecent exposure, so it's not really a good comparison.

Depends. The gay guys who wanted a cake just wanted a service that the baker supplied. If these "Activists " were preaching on the premises than the owner was in the right. I didn't watch the video (standard policy on dogpiddle videos )

On one side, I'm OK with the fact that a business can serve who they want... on the other side, you're right, it's a dick move to refuse.

I would expect a bold fellow of self-proclaimed superiority like yourself to at least read the news article you want to proclaim your expertise on, though.

So you missed this then, did you?

$1:
Members of Abolish Human Abortion recently decided to order drinks in Seattle’s Bedlam coffee shop after posting and distributing pro-life pamphlets in the local community. Activists who joined Caleb Head and Caytie Davis on Oct. 1 were soon berated and told the leave when they were identified.

Now me, I did read the article and watch the video so I'm going to take a guess on what actually happened there in the Seattle coffee shop.

These Christian activist guys were out distributing pamphlets. They were also putting up posters and that was the poop that hit the fan.

Some shit disturber type appears to have been following them. He pulled down one of the posters and followed them to the coffee shop when they stopped for a break. He then snuck into the back and hoping to stir something up with the owner, he presented him with the poster and told him about the Christians drinking coffee in his gay coffee shop.

Luckily for him he landed on an owner who appears to be at just Fifey levels of understanding - meaning he didn't understand much. He saw the poster below. It's meant to illicit outrage but the owner being of the sort who either didn't pay close attention or wouldn't understand it if he did only saw colors of a rainbowish sort, assumed that meant gay then saw the rainbow hands dripping blood, at which point he lost his shit thinking he had been personally insulted.

The poster is pretty alarming but those aren't gay rainbow colors. If you want to be personally outraged you should maybe know why. I don't think 'He-who-brags-on-his-bum-fucking' actually knew what the poster was about. He saw something like a rainbow and thought it was about him. Heard they were Christians and immediately felt superior and justified to perpetrate any sort of offense upon them.

The poster is designed to outrage though.

Even though I smell a doggie indiscretion in the air, i'll respond
When did I 'self-proclaimed superiority?' I will accept a topic or specific post, but I suspect you have me mixed up with that dogpiddle guy. And as to your (thankfully brief) description... if that's what happens than its not good, but I've been around enough fundamentalist Christians to know they almost never let an opportunity go by to push their agenda. I suspect they were pushing their materials in the café and were told to leave. Don't know that for sure, but would be inclined to believe it. :x

Yeah...whatever.

I think what the poster is actually claiming is people are claiming victimhood while turning their eyes from actual victims. Those claimants to victimhood might include gays, but the poster is not about gays.

But no they weren't in the coffee shop pushing their agenda. They were drinking coffee. The video shows that.

That "we have the right to refuse service" thing sure hurts when it bites someone on the ass.
