Things like this give me more and more bitterness and rage towards rich people, especially whiny ingrate kids born with a silver spoon in their mouths. People like this have absolutely NO integrity, nor a grip on reality. More and more people are falling on hard times and are struggling to pay bills, and this chump cries over a luxury tax on a vehicle that normal people can ill afford to get a glimpse of.

The purpose of a luxury tax is to punish wealthy people for their wealth and the net effect of these taxes is the destruction of all of the affected luxury industries.

Dumbfuck Democrats in the USA tried this shit with Jimmy Carter and they imposed a 30% luxury tax on cars, private planes, jewelry, and yachts.

The result was the death of the American yacht building industry, the layoffs of thousands of workers at the various Cadillac and Lincoln plants, the US high end jewelry industry departed offshore, and a number of private plane manufacturers closed shop.

The rich people just go buy their toys in lower tax (or no tax) markets and the people hit hardest by this bullshit are the workers who lose their jobs to foreign countries.

But, yeah, FUCK THE RICH!!, that's all that matters here even if these idiotic ideas ruin the economy and force wealth to flee to other countries...like the USA.
