If they are taking these measures in China then the damn Olympics should be cancelled.
If it made sense to postpone the 2020 Summer Olympics by a year, I don't know why that wouldn't hold true for the Winter Olympics, especially in light of Omicron's rapid spread.
China would be pissed though, because they'd take it as a knock on their healthcare measures and would give time for nations to decide whether or not to truly boycott it (or move it elsewhere as has been suggested).
