This world was a better place because of Major Winters, and other men just like him.
Now, the world is somewhat diminished by his loss. To me, Major Winters encapsulated what a military officer should be.
May he rest in easy peace.

My favourite show. He came across as a true leader when they interviewed him. Not many guys like him about.

I am very fortunate in that I never had to fight in a war. A lot of brave people including members of my family fought those wars for me. I am eternally grateful to all of them. RIP Major Winters you have earned it many times over.
