As the capain of the queen of the deep, I mean north, should he not be responsible fir everthing on that ship. It's his job to ensure that the crew carries out their duties properly.

The buck stops with the Captain. How he could expect his job back with the loss of life and millions in property is beyond me. Fact is, the ship was hung up on a shoal on the north end of Gill Island for enough time to do an evacuation or the loss would have been horrendous - that was by the grace of God and nothing else.

Ever since the first neandrathal climbed on a log, claimed to be in charge, built a wardroom, gave his dumber friends orders. drafted SSO's and invented the bar tab for cake and ass parties it's been the Captains responsibility for the safety and security of "his" vessel.

If this particular neandrathal had concerns about his crew and how they were operating "his" ship, waiting till the vessel ran aground and sank was definately a piss poor way of addressing them.
