But it is another testament to Gillis' ineptitude as a general manager.

He got taken by a real GM, Lou Lamoriello and now all he's left with is a severely disgruntled overpaid first string goal tender who wants to leave, a maybe draft pick and an extremely sore ringbit from being raped by New Jersey's management.

What a maroon.

But the one good thing is that the potential basket-case Cory Schneider won't have to put up with Gillis' other major mistake this week. The maniac John Tortorella.

Hmm, that was unexpected. I suppose that puts Lou back to #1, although it wouldn't shock me if they moved him too, if they can(probably can't due to his contract).

Might have been nice if Gillis had bothered to inform Cory beforehand.....I mean awhile before the announcement....couldn't not believe my ears when I heard Duffy say that the call Gillis made during the NHL Entry Draft was to Cory.
