With Gillis gone there's no other General Manager in the league willing to give up elite talent for next to nothing.
As for getting rid of Tortorella, good luck guys. Unless Aquilini wants to eat another 8 million dollars along with the genius' contract, he's gonna get at least one more year. But, the best part is, Gillis, Tortorella, and Luongo are all guaranteed enough money to fuel most third world countries economies for decades.
The Canucks are about to sink back into that mediocrity they made a staple of for 30 years.
