Its also in the Helmand, we don’t go into the Helmand unless we are supporting someone else. If you’re looking for something to satisfy your fantasies on the CF you will not find it in this story.

You may be right about the story fizzling, given who's conducting the investigation:

University of Ottawa professor Amir Attaran, who sparked Canadian military investigations into the alleged torture of detainees at the hands of Afghan authorities, expressed misgivings Wednesday about the ongoing probe.

Based on what he's seen of previous NIS probes related to the Afghan mission, Attaran said he believes the unit is too closely linked to the Canadian Forces to mount to a credible investigation.
