'Notwithstanding' the fact that you folks don't really have any rights, why is this a surprise?

Since you're obviously trolling for a opportunity to unleash some harebrained theory, I'll bite. How is it that we folks have no rights?

I don't see why this bothers people. If you aren't doing anything illegal or anything that threatens national security, then you have nothing to worry about.

I have no problem with Canadian Security observing me. The Yanks to the south have zero right to do so. Last time I checked, Canada was a sovereign nation, and NOT one of the states to the south.

...and if you're doing nothing wrong, it shouldn't bother you if someone's watching.

Strange, that didn't sound quite right. :?

"Could lead to...".

And a source called 'Boing boing'.

The Imaginary Property lobby asks for the sun and the moon, and the Harperites have a history of giving it to them.

$1:
On January 14, 2012, the Obama administration responded to a petition against the bill, stating that while it would not support legislation with provisions that could lead to Internet censorship, squelching of innovation, or reduced Internet security, it encouraged "all sides to work together to pass sound legislation this year that provides prosecutors and rights holders new legal tools to combat online piracy originating beyond U.S. borders while staying true to the principles outlined above in this response." More than 100,000 people petitioned the White House in protest.

The proper thing to do is to tell Hollywood to go f*ck themselves.

Curt. This article is pure supposition and is a BLOG!

But it is another example of half-truths with half-lies being swallowed by an audience eager to believe anything bad of the Bloody Tories.

You believe away mate. I'll wait for the third reading of the Bill before I 'Occupy' anything other than my house.
