$1:
As against our gauzy national hopes, I will teach my boys to have profound doubts that friendship with white people is possible.

Then don't bitch when the feeling's mutual. :|

Agreed.

This is ridiculous. Indoctrinating this kind of hatred does nothing but add fuel to any flame that exists.

Racism exists in all groups. Alive and well.

It doesn’t matter your race or political affiliation, racism is very common.

No.
The lefties used to be all ' we can 't judge people by colour, we are all the same '.

That's what we all grew up with.

Obviously, something changed.
Leftism is finding new ways to divide us.

How dramatic.

Why is everything always about 'left' and 'right' with you?

Not everything is a thousand shades of grey as some people would have you believe.

They why are there a thousand shades, if everything is black and white? Putting people into boxes in order to categorize them is unfair to the diversity of opinions, and nobody considers what the box wants.

Most things are.

Thinking otherwise is naive and close-minded.

We see it here every day. People who don't support a single idea from a right-of-centre politician, you're immediately a 'leftard' and vise-versa for ideas from the left.

Amazingly enough, people from the left and right often have good ideas and valuable opinions.

Not necessarily. You're talking about perspective. Some see things darker or lighter than you do in your grey postmodern world.

You believe your POV is the superior one. You believe you speak without bias. Many think like that these days. They're full of shit, of course. Everybody has bias.

You're projecting your beliefs.

I don't think my POV is superior and yes, we all have certain biases. As humans, it's unavoidable.

However, we can stop and challenge our own thinking when our bias does kick in.
