What kind of cruel and vicious blackhearted BS are you trying to peddle this time?

My question is what the hell were the parents doing at the time?? Young kids like that should not be left loose on a train platform. I've seen parents let their kids wander way far ahead on the subway platforms here in Toronto. Nuts I say, nuts.

I guess this highly advanced procedure for preventing harm to small children has escaped notice in Canada...

Which is irrelevant to the subject of protecting children around dangerous machinery.

Sez u. If you don't have kids, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. You have no idea. Even if you streetched your imagination to its limits, you would still not even be close to the reality of having kids. End o' story.

Sez me, who does have kids. Either my wife or myself have our youngest, who is 6, firmly in hand when boarding or leaving any mass transit because we know children aren't careful and need adults to watch out for them. A moment of indiscretion can lead to a life time of reflection.

Even though you've learned a lot about me over the past five years kindly don't assume you know everything and I won't do the same with you.

So just to get this straight then--you've never lost sight of your kids, even for a moment?

Well, I stand corrected. I met the perfect parent.

My point exactly. A simple mix of common sense and parenting.

Sorry. Maybe you do have kids, I don't know. I'm just pointing out that folks that don't have kids often consider themselves experts on the subject of bringing them up, which causes those of us with them to roll our eyes.
