I think the use of dogs is a good idea for sniffing out bombs. If muslims are uncomfortable with the dogs. They should consider why there are there. It's a dangerouus world there are a lot of nuts who love to plant bombs. That could be even more uncomfortable, not only muslims.
I would feel more comfortable that the police are taking these precautions.

I don't think they need to worry about the Dog getting to close to them unless there is a reason the Dog is getting close to them.

Some Dogs might consider the muslim communities to be unclean. Consider this dogs are the truest of companions can we say they say the same about the muslim communities?
