$1:
Public security informed Lefebvre's wife in early January that the fort was blocking snowplows and needed to be torn down.

Must be shitty snow plows.

Beaconsfield is a nice, little town. I went to High School with the previous mayor and I'm quite certain, he would have told his silly servants to get stuffed. That, by the way, is a very Anglo attitude to tell the deputized to stop being petty monarchs and that Anglo culture does not "do" control freak very much in general.

I live in Montreal, and all this shows are the bureaucrats going crazy with make work, trying to justify their jobs. So at the last mark, in Montreal, no snow forts, no ice rinks, no playing hockey on the little suburban streets and don't you dare hold a snowball.
At last I feel safe.

I looked at six articles about that fort. I've seen it photographed from all angles. If there is a big snow storm, the plow will knock it down (because it will have to) and not even notice it when it hits it. It's all about "petty". I'm sure that the current mayor of Beaconsfield will be a one-term wonder. I remember lots like him, too.
