well i somewhat in a general policy sense agree with user based fees for transport, as a person who uses these ferries at least 10 times a year... it sucks.

Isn't the Coquihalla highway part of the 1? Then I do. It's a toll road (or at least it used to be)

Other than that, I pay for the crappy roads here, and no money is spend on repairs so I really would like to see that fixed first than that I would like to see a subsidy on a ferry service.

Actually it wasn't part of the National Highway system, it was considered part of the Provincial Highway system and until Gordo and his sleezoid buddy Big Dave arrived on the scene it was part of the British Columbia Ministry of Highways.

I find it utterly unbelievable that the Lieberal Governement and their American Minion have the fucking gall to blackmail the people of Vancouver Island and the people of BC with their threats of fare increases if taxpayers or travellers don't give them more money.

How does that sleezoid David Hahn account for the fact that he's been getting taxpayer subsidies in the first place when, the BC Ferry Corporation is according to him and his masters a "Privately Owned Company".

If the ferry corporation is broke to fucking bad. Hahn should give the boats back to the people of BC, take the last of his million dollar a year salary and get the fuck out of our country, and quit being an utterly useless American waste of skin.
