Now you know why character and integrity is important. Deny him an award because he met with the Dalai Lama? That's an insult. Throw away the award then if you can't hold it to any esteem.
Whether it's China or any other nation, you don't sell out your principles for personal gain or perceived benefit. Canadians had better start opening their eyes, we will see more and more of these cases where Canadians are impacted because we didn't have strong leaders.
WHen I state "strong", I dont mean guys who would rather persecute and bully Canadians like Vic Toews and his ilk.
