The deal with
Fast and Furious was that the Obama crowd wanted to gin up reasons to suppress gun rights in pro-gun states like Texas and especially Arizona and in the absence of just cause they created a crisis. They deliberately facilitated the sale of guns to Mexican nationals so they'd have an excuse to impose gun control.
It stands to reason they'd do the same to Canada.
